The Minister of Science and Technology, Ms Naledi Pandor, took up office at the Department of Science and Technology (DST) last week following President Jacob Zuma's announcement of the new Cabinet on 25 May 2014.
Minister Pandor, who led the DST from 2009 to 2012, will brief the media about the DST's efforts to create a society that derives enduring and equitable benefits from science and technology, and to unlock science and innovation opportunities for all South Africans.
