The National Student Financial Aid Scheme’s (NSFAS’s) Executive Management led by the NSFAS Board Chairperson Mr Ernest Khosa will update members of the media and public at large on the NSFAS’ current state of affairs.
NSFAS has completed funding decisions for applications received for the 2023 academic year and continues to disburse allowances to students whose funding has been confirmed through the new direct payment system.
The Chairman and Executive Management will give a thorough update on matters related to the scheme’s new allowance payment method, defunding of underserving students and streamlining of student accommodation. More emphasis will be placed on the implementation of the Student-Centred Model since its inception and its supporting projects thereof.
