Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Hon. Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula - MP, to hold post-budget vote speech working breakfast with members of the media in association with the Cape Town Press Club on 24 May 2013.
The Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Hon. Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula - MP, will table her maiden Budget Vote Speech as the Executive Authority in the Department of Defence and Military Veterans in the Old Assembly Chamber of Parliament on the 23rd of May 2013.
In this regard, it is the wish of the Ministry of Defence and Military Veterans to hold a working-breakfast media briefing on Friday the morning of the 24th of May 2013 at the Castle of Good Hope to allow members of the media an opportunity to receive direct insights as well as put questions to Minister Mapisa-Nqakula on her priorities for the department in the financial year 2013/14, as well as to ventilate all matters of public interest pertaining to the work of the Department of Defence and Military Veterans.
Minister Mapisa-Nqakula will lead the media briefing including the fielding of questions from members of the media.
The entire Apex leadership of the Ministry of Defence, SANDF and Military Veterans will be present to lend support to the Minister.
The Cape Town Press Club will act as host and facilitator of Minister Mapisa-Nqakula's conversation with the media.
