South African ICT Ministers to address the media on SA’s Posture with regards to  ICT issues on the sidelines of the SADC meeting

The Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services, Mr Siyabonga Cwele and the Minister of Communications, Ms Ayanda Dlodlo will brief media on South Africa’s posture with regards issues of  Information Communication Technologies (ICTs). The country is currently hosting the SADC ICT Ministers’ meeting.  The meeting started from 04 to 07 September 2017 at the Fairmont Zimbali Resort in KwaZulu Natal.

The overarching objective of the meeting is to establish communication systems that are accessible, affordable, efficient, reliable and fully integrated to meet the diverse requirements in order to ensure connectivity to the citizens of the SADC Region.

The briefing will take place as follows:

Venue: Fairmont Zimbali Resort, Plenary Room.
