Media briefing by Finance Minister following the President’s address to the nation

The Minister of Finance, Mr Tito Mboweni, will today at 14h00 brief the media following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s announcement of a R500 billion package of economic measures aimed at addressing challenges facing the economy, hard hit by a recession, Covid-19, and sovereign credit rating downgrades. The Minister will be joined by National Treasury executives.
