Minister Chikunga to brief media on transport department’s first quarter performance
Members of the media are invited to a press briefing through which the Minister of Transport, Ms. Sindisiwe Chikunga will update them regarding the first quarter performance of the National Department of Transport.
During the briefing, Minister Chikunga will also address the media on the following:
- The recent Constitutional Court ruling on AARTO;
- The torching of trucks in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga;
- Recent e-hailing protests;
- The Road Accident Fund;
- The state of provincial road infrastructure;
- The Minister's recent official trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Prior to the media briefing, Ms Chikunga will visit the PRASA war room.
