Minister Mchunu to release a report on the state of water quality in the country
The Minister of Water and Sanitation will on Tuesday, 06 June 2023 release the Interim Blue, Green and No Drop Watch Reports, a regulatory tool and incentive based programme to improve municipal drinking water quality, wastewater management as well as water conservation and demand management.
Minister Mchunu will be joined by his deputies, Ms Judith Tshabalala and Mr David Mahlobo, as well Director-General, Dr Sean Phillips and other senior officials.
This is part efforts by the Department to strengthen its regulatory work across the board and finding sustainable water solutions in order to ensure water security in the country.
