Minister Naledi Pandor will on Thursday 26 September address the Home Affairs weekly media briefing session in Pretoria.
The weekly Home Affairs briefing session provides both the Ministry and the media an opportunity to address current issues affecting the department and other issues of mutual interest.
Among other issues of interest, Minister Pandor will address are:
- The forthcoming UN High Level Dialogue on Migration and development in New York
- The Annual Executive Committee meeting of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva
- The intended Invalidation of duplicate IDs by October 2013
- Steps taken to deal with Permitting (work, business and study) permits
