The Minister of Women, Children and People with Disabilities, Ms Lulu Xingwana, will brief the media on the current scourge of gender-based violence and efforts to eliminate violence against women and children. In addition, the Minister will inform the media about the department’s turn-around strategy that will enable the department to respond effectively to its mandate.
