Minister Nkwinti to hold a media briefing on release of water from Berg River Dam to Misverstand Dam
Members of the media are invited to a media briefing to announce the release of water from the Berg River Dam to the Misverstand Dam. The media briefing will be officiated by the Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mr Gugile Nkwinti, and supported by Western Cape Premier, Ms Helen Zille on Tuesday, 17 April 2018 in Parliament, Cape Town.
The decision to release water was reached after a meeting was held by the Western Cape MEC for Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning Minister Anton Bredell, senior officials of the Department of Water and Sanitation and mayors and engineering staff of west coast municipalities.
