Transport and Public Works Minister Robin Carlisle, will be briefing the media on the proposed motor vehicle license and registration fees increase for the Western Cape. This comes after a moratorium on the fee increases in the Province since 2005, when the Western Cape fees were on average, higher than all other provinces.
Minister Carlisle will be providing details on:
- the proposed motor vehicle license and registration increases
- the impact that these fees have on provincial roads infrastructure
- how the public can comment on the proposed increases.
