Media briefing by the Minister of Higher Education and Training on opportunities for 2013 Matriculants in the Post-school Education and Training System
The Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande, invites you to a media briefing on opportunities available within the post-school education and training system for students who have just completed Matric as well as other out-of-school youth.
His address will include information on what is available at the country’s 25 universities, 50 Further Education and Training Colleges (FETs) and 21 Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs).
He will also share information on the Department’s Central Application Clearing House (CACH), which was set up to alleviate the pressure placed on tertiary institutions by late applications and the influx of walk-in applicants at the beginning of the year.
