Police Minister General Bheki Cele will on Tuesday, 21 January 2020, give a report of the 2019 SAPS Safer festive campaign.
This follows Minister Cele’s countrywide inspection tour of the various police operations during the holiday season. The campaign “Zizojika Izinto - Turning the tide against crime” fell part of the police management’s directive to cancel all leave during the festive season and ensure high police visibility in public areas.
Minister Cele and National Police Commissioner General Khehla Sitole will give an update on the successes of the operations in all provinces.
