Member of the media are kindly invited to attend the briefing of the Minister of Energy, Ms Dipuo Peters, on Strategic Engagement Dinner with Municipalities and State Owned Companies participating in Energy Efficiency & Demand Side Management (EEDSM) on the 2 May 2013.
The purpose of the briefing is to provide the Minister with the background information and progress to date on the implementation of the municipal EEDSM Programmes for 2012/13 and update on the planned 2013/14.
This will allow the Minister to intervene in addressing the highlighted challenges and clear the blockages as well as engaging with the Municipalities and State Owned Companies on energy efficiency matters, and to affirm the role of the Government in providing leadership on energy efficiency.
