The North West MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Gaoage Oageng Molapisi will on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, brief media on the Departments’ service delivery achievements and interventions across the province.
The briefing comes as the province accelerates efforts to strengthen municipal governance, improve accountability, and fast-track housing delivery.
Key issues to be addressed include municipal governance and service delivery, municipal performance and accountability, infrastructure development, human settlements delivery, disaster management, support to traditional leadership and customary initiation activities, and interventions to address service delivery challenges.
The MEC will also reflect on Budget Speech pronouncements and milestones achieved, including the CoGTA Clean Audit opinion and ongoing programmes aimed at accelerating service delivery.
MEC Molapisi will also outline the human settlements MUNIMEC programme and its objectives that will be held on the same day.
