The MEC for Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs Hon. Andries Gamede together with the MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Hon. Refilwe Mtshweni will table their departments’ 2014/2015 Policy and Budget Speeches.
MEC Gamede will pay special attention to efforts by his department in supporting emerging farmers with production inputs, mechanisation and advisory services through Masibuyele Emasimini, and the Livestock Development Programme through Masibuyele Esibayeni.
MEC Mtshweni will outline plans for delivery of basic services such as water, sanitation and electricity in line with the provincial key priorities, the National Development Plan, and Mpumalanga Vision 2030. The speech will also address the support for municipalities and the institution of traditional leadership.
