Tomorrow, MEC of Transport and Public Works, Donald Grant, will be briefing the media on the Festive Season’s enforcement and road safety efforts as well as the road death statistics for that period. The festive season spanned 1st December 2017 till 31st January 2018.
MEC Grant will be joined by Mr Farrel Payne, the Director for Traffic Law Enforcement in the Department of Transport and Public Works
MEC Grant will be:
- Releasing the road death figures for December 2016/January 2017 for the Western Cape,
- Releasing Provincial Traffic enforcement statistics for the festive season, and
- Speaking about some of the various Safely Home activities and campaigns rolled out over this period to improve road safety in the province,
- Looking forward to future campaigns and focus areas.
