Gauteng MEC for Education Ms Barbara Creecy will on Tuesday announce Gauteng's state of readiness for the opening of schools on 9 January 2013.
Senior officials in the department were deployed to various schools this weekend to assist in cleaning schools in preparation for the first day of schooling. MEC Creecy will participate in the cleaning of Nokulunga Primary on Tuesday.
