The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) has grown bigger and stronger in the 2014 financial year.
It has an accumulative budget of R4,9 billion and new responsibility as the implementation arm of all capital and maintenance projects for Gauteng Government’s largest departments – Health and Education.
As such, the MEC would like to take the citizens of Gauteng into confidence on the direction the department is taking, as well as unveil details on the systems it would employ to ensure efficiencies in the procurement, management and payment systems in all its projects.
