Electoral Commission launches voter registration weekend for South African citizens living abroad
The Electoral Commission will host hybrid briefing to provide an update on readiness for the registration weekend for South Africans living abroad ahead of the National and Provincial Elections 2024.
The Commission will outline procedures followed for voter registration abroad, available facilities, partnerships as well as what South Africans living abroad need in order to apply to register to vote from outside of the Republic of South Africa. Registration for South African diaspora will take place on 26-28 January 2024.
