Electoral Commission to brief media on political parties and independent candidate lists
The Electoral Commission invites members of the media to a briefing on candidate lists submitted by political parties and independent candidates wishing to contest the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Following the cut-off date for objections on published candidate lists on Wednesday, 27 March 2024, the Commission will announce its decision after reviewing all objections received. The Commission will further unpack the next steps to follow before the final lists are released.
Members of the media are invited as follows:
