Deputy Minister John Jeffery to brief the media on appointment of Sheriffs and Introduction of the Code of Conduct for Sheriffs
The Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, John Jeffery, will brief the media on the appointment of new Sheriffs countrywide and the introduction of a new Code of Conduct and Pledge for Sheriffs. The filling of these vacancies and introduction of the Code of Conduct will contribute towards improving access to justice as well as transformation of the Sheriffs profession in the country.
The Sheriffs profession plays a critical role in the administration of civil justice. Sheriffs are an important interface between the public and the justice system.
