Members of the media are invited to a briefing by Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga on Tuesday, 6 August in Pretoria. The briefing will focus on the latest developments in Basic Education, and latest decisions taken by the Council of Education Ministers (CEM) that comprises the Minister and Education MECs from all 9 provinces.
Among matters on the agenda will be an update on the 2013 Annual National Assessment (ANA) and the National Senior Certificate (NSC Grade 12) examinations, the teaching of English across the Curriculum and the approved 2015 National School Calendar school calendar.
