Kindly note that the briefing on recovery plan for schools has been postponed until further notice. The Ministry will however issue a statement in this regard during the course of the day.
The Minister of Basic Education, Ms Angie Motshekga will brief members of the media on the Recovery Plan for schools in order to recover learning and teaching and to prepare Grade 12 learners adequately for the National Senior Certificate examinations.This is as a result of the prolonged public service industrial action and the disruption of schooling in South Africa.
