Gauteng Finance MEC Mandla Nkomfe would like to invite members of the media to a press briefing to discuss the financial position of the Gauteng Provincial Government. The MEC will specifically provide details on the following:
- Progress made to stabilise the financial situation in the province
- Monitoring mechanisms to ensure departments spend within allocated budgets
- Interventions implemented to enhance spending on infrastructure investment programme
- Revenue enhancement initiatives to ensure that provincial priorities are fully resourced
- Improvements recorded in supplier payment.
