Due to the imminent visit by the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Mr Richard Baloyi to the province the media briefing by the Provincial Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs that was scheduled for 20 February 2012 at Protea Hotel, Nelspruit at 9h00 has been postponed indefinitely.
The media is now invited to join Minister Baloyi, Premier David Mabuza and MEC Madala Masuku as they visit the areas that were declared disaster areas after the floods that hit Ehlanzeni District. The purpose of the visit is to assess progress being made in rehabilitating the affected areas as well as government relief to the recent storms that hit Nkomazi. The Minister will also use the visit to identify areas in which national government can step in to assist.
