All media are informed that the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs will, on Thursday 28 October 2010, take a visit to the Hartbeespoort Dam area. The visit will be to take a deeper look into the challenges in the area and find ways together with the local municipality and entities towards the resolution of such.
The visit needs to be looked at as part of Minister’s oversight responsibilities and interest in finding ways of overcoming the challenges that could lead to a stifling of delivery of services.

Date: 28 October 2010
Venue: Harties Information Centre, Hartbeespoort Dam.
Time: 09h30 to 13h30, including a site visit to the dam and a media briefing.
