Freedom Day Celebrations has been marked as the important day for all South Africans. The day is celebrated annually, nationally and in all provinces. It is against this background that the North West province also participates in celebrating Freedom Day as an epoch event that marks the freedom of our people when they took part in the first elections which ushered in our democracy.
The theme for this year’s celebrations is “Working Together We Can Do more to better the lives of our people and celebrate our freedom”.
