All media are informed that the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, Mrs Edna Molewa, will visit the De Hoop Dam, within the Olifants River system, as part of her activities on Human Rights’ Day. During this visit Minister will be updated on the progress of the work being done on the Dam and the kind of impact the construction and ultimate supply there from will have on the surrounding communities.
Thereafter the Minister will have a community meeting with those communities impacted upon by the construction of the dam, namely those of Buffelskloof.
