The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries invites you to the Marine Anti-Poaching Projects’ Military Veterans Parade Ceremony tomorrow, Tuesday 14 December 2010 at The Castle of Good Hope, Cape Town at 12:30. The ceremony marks the end of a six month training programme members of the Marine Anti-Poaching Project have undergone. The training included intelligence, information security, investigation practice, risk assessment and first aid among others.
The training programme forms part of continued efforts to bolster and enhance the enforcement capacity of the department in an endeavour to protect marine resources in the coastal regions. The training programme included an on-the-job component as well as formal training.
