As we celebrate Madiba's 92nd birthday on 18 July, the MEC for Health and Social M Sekgabutla will be volunteering some services to the community.
On this special day, the MEC will at 10h00 visit Piet Potgieter Old Age home in Mokopane next to Game Stores where she intends spending time with our senior citizens to provide some help on their day to day needs. She will, together with these elderly people, cut cake in honour of Madiba.
She will then proceed to Pholoshong Home-based Care Centre at Seleteng, Ga Mphahlele, where she will be a carer, taking care of the needs of HIV and AIDS patients.
She will then proceed to Lenkwane la Maphiri Drop-in-Centre where she will be giving out some food parcels and providing counselling services to orphaned children.
She will dedicate 67 minutes in all these centres. Other voluntary services will be taking place in other districts in the province, which will focus on giving health and social development voluntary services.
Let us all volunteer and give service for at least 67 minutes on Mandela Day.
