North West MEC for Public Safety, Howard Yawa is to lead a high powered delegation to meet with farmers in the Swartruggens area around issues of rural safety on Thursday. The meeting is to be held at 2h00pm at the Transvaal Landbou Unie (TLU) Building, Corner Henry Street, Swartruggens (next to Kooperasie).
The meeting is part of MEC Yawa’s roadshow aimed at curbing attacks and crime on farms. The roadshow is supported by the South African Police Service (SAPS), Provincial Community Policing Board and the local Community Policing Forum.
Yawa’s delegations includes Lieutenant General Zukiswa Mbombo (North West Provincial Commissioner of Police), Deputy Provincial Commissioners,the Cluster Commander, Station Commander, Provincial Community Policing Board Chairperson and Head of Detectives.
