In a bid to garner community support in the fight against crime, Mpumalanga Safety, Security and Liaison, MEC Vusi Shongwe will address a Public Participation Meeting (Imbizo) in Bushbuckridge on Saturday from 10h00.
The Imbizo will further provide the community with an opportunity to make inputs on government’s plan of action and to ultimately enhance policies on crime prevention.
The Imbizo is also expected to assist in strengthening the existing partnerships between government and communities in the fight against crime.
The event follows the successful Imbizo held last Sunday in Breyten.
