Amid the recent violent incidents which recently took place in Ledig near Sun City in Rustenburg, the North West MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Paul Sebegoe will on Thursday, 10 November 2011 at 14h00 meet with the community of Ledig at the Bakhubung Ba Ratheo tribal offices in Ledig.
MEC Sebegoe recently condemned the violent attacks by protesters and expressed his worries about these new trends of resorting to violence and destroying public properties when raising grievances and dissatisfactions.
“We want to, in the strongest possible terms, condemn such a behaviour and appeal to our communities to raise their concerns in a peaceful and civilised manner by going through legitimate channels”, said MEC Sebegoe.
