North West MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Paul Sebegoe wishes to convey his heartfelt condolences to the Mogale royal family and Bapo II community in Phorotlhwane village following the death of Kgosi Thomas Seemetsa Mogale who died on Friday, December 2, 2011.
Kgosi Mogale was appointed as leader of the Bapo in Phorotlhwane in April 1988. Kgosi Mogale died at the age of 89 after a short illness. He will be buried on Saturday, 10 December 2011 at the Phorotlhwane village (Bapo II).
“We have lost a true community leader, a teacher, a father and most of all a visionary. This country needs a person of Kgosi Mogale’s caliber to work with government in enhancing the lives of our rural traditional communities. With my heart pierced with sorrow I wish to commit the support of my department to the family during their time of mourning. We trust that Kgosi Mogale’s vision will continue to exist for the growth and prosperity of his people,” he said.
