The event will take place at Mantsole Traffic Control Centre on the N1 freeway between Pretoria and Bela-Bela. This year the campaign will be launched under the theme: ‘Operation Safer Festive Season’.
MEC Kekana will unveil the department’s plan to reduce the carnage on our roads during the festive season. The concerted road safety effort will include high-profile policing, prosecution and public communication.
Members of the media are invited to attend the launch.
