Patricia de Lille, the Minister for Social Development in the Western Cape will this morning visit the scene of the Macassar fire that has so far claimed the lives of nine Capetonians.
The fire destroyed two formal dwellings.
'I will speak to members of the community and be briefed by departmental social workers at the scene, in order to make decisions around the support that the Department can provide to the survivors of this tragedy, MEC de Lille says.
