The Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs in Mpumalanga will launch the Mbangwane Thusong Centre in Nkomazi local municipality. Mbangwane is one of the 14 function Thusong Service Centres in the province.
The centres help citizens to have access to government services such as the application for grants, identity documents and birth certificates without travelling long distances. This centre is part of government's programme of bringing services closer to the people. The province has set a target of two Thusong Service Centres in each municipality by 2014.
You are invited to join MEC Norman Mohlalefa Mokoena as he visits the community of Nkomazi to launch the Thusong Service Centre at Mbangwane. The launch is scheduled as follows:
