Eager to get down and intensify the fight against crime, especially the targeted prioritised crime, MEC Mosunkutu will host a media briefing session tomorrow.
Hardly a month in to his new deployment, the Gauteng MEC for Community Safety has visited a crime scene where a taxi owner was gunned down. From the crime scene at the Faraday Taxi rank, he proceeded to the Bree Street taxi rank to introduce his tough stance especially on taxi violence.
In his media briefing, MEC Khabisi Mosunkutu is expected to highlight the prioritised crime which the provincial government has identified. These are likely to include vehicle hijackings, hijacking of buildings in city centres by organized crime, social crime and bank robberies. MEC Mosunkutu will explain his tough approaches and plans in a media briefing session to be held as follows:
