North West MEC for Human Settlements Desbo Mohono will tomorrow, 13 October 2010, visit the hailstorm stricken Bodibe area, near Litchtenburg, in the Ditsobotla Local Municipality.
MEC Mohono and her departmental officials will assess the extent of the damage and further determine the kind of intervention from the department and how the affected families could be assisted. A number of houses were recently destroyed by hailstorms leaving poor families stranded and distressed.
Members of the media are invited to accompany the MEC.
