Gauteng Local Government and Housing MEC Humphrey Mmemezi accompanied by the Ekurhuleni Executive Mayor Councillor Mondli Gungubele, will hand over the refurbished Buyafuthi Hostel in Mngadi Section, Katlehong.
Buyafuthi is among other hostels which are currently being rehabilitated by the Gauteng Provincial Government as part of converting these once male-only migrant labourers’ compounds into integrated family units.
