Gauteng Department of Local Government and Housing will host a two-day provincial summit of youth in Human Settlements. The Summit is aimed at encouraging young people to take part in the construction and Human Settlements industry.
The Summit will be addressed by Local Government and Housing MEC Humphrey Mmemezi and other stakeholders. The provincial summit is a follow-up to the National Department of Human Settlement Youth summit which was held in Durban early this year, where the national programme of action (POA) was adopted. Gauteng province will therefore be developing its programme of action in line with the national (POA).
The Theme of the summit: “Youth in action for economic freedom and development 2030 and beyond”
