As part of Women’s Month celebration, the Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Ms Faith Mazibuko will on Saturday, 13 August 2011, have a conversation with young professional women to raise awareness on their rights and dealing with abusive relationships.
The session will create a platform that will enable women to interact with their counterparts and share tips on how to balance family and career. Survivors of abuse will be invited to share their stories and experiences. The event will also showcase the departmental programmes and initiatives in which women can participate on issues of safety.
