Eastern Cape MEC for Transport, Roads and Public Works Ms Thandiswa Marawu will hold a series of meetings with Scholar Transport Programme role players in Mthatha on Friday 30 September 2011.
The main purpose of these meetings is to deal with the identified challenges of scholar transport since the re-introduction of the service under the control of the Eastern Cape Department of Transport on 18 July 2011.
MEC Marawu will first meet with all the Directors of One Future Development 46 at the Department of Transport District Office Boardroom, Botha Sigcau Building, at 10h00.
This meeting will be followed by a session with the consortium that handles the administration of the project at the same venue at 12h00.
At 14h00, MEC Marawu will meet all OR Tambo district scholar transport operators.
