As part of the 2012 October Transport Month Campaign, the MEC for Transport Road and Public Works, Thandiswa Marawu will launch Operation Kwanele N2 Special Intervention Project at Mount Frere (Madzikane Ka Zulu Hospital) on Friday, 5 October 2012 at 10h00.
This operation is a response to a number of road accidents that occur along that route. The launch will feature an Inte-Faith Prayer by South African Council of Churches and MEC Marawu is expected to announce and outline the intervention plan for N2 from the Western Cape – Eastern Cape border to the Eastern Cape – KwaZulu-Natal border.
