Eastern Cape MEC for Transport Thandiswa Marawu will address the Eastern Cape Council of Churches (ECCC) and other churches who are not affiliated to the ECCC during a prayer week at the Orient Theatre in East London on 12 September 2012.
Organised by TruFM, this initiative will take place starting from 10 to 15 September 2012 and is intended to revive the spirituality and to seek God’s intervention, in particular before the Grade 12 learners’ seat for exams.
It is a free event that will allow the Christian community an opportunity to listen to the leaders of faith as they lead them to the Throne of God.
Each day the is going to be a theme according to the five national priorities e.g. Education, Poverty, Crime, Families and Unemployment to plead for God’s guidance and intervention as we navigate our way as the beautiful province of the Eastern Cape.
MEC Marawu is expected to highlight issues that need to be taken to the alter for God’s intervention, these include:
- Road Safety
- Rate of Road Accidents and
- Traffic officers.
