Eastern Cape Transport MEC Thandiswa Marawu will address the Aviation Open Day to be held by AV8 Helicopters and Border Aviation Club at the East London Airport on Sunday, 24 July 2011 at 10am. The Aviation Open Day is intended to create an awareness of aviation in the Eastern Cape and to highlight aviation as a career path.
The programme will feature the South African Air Force.

- Static display of aircraft
- Helicopter rides.
