The Eastern Cape education department MEC Mandla Makupula will tomorrow 16 February 2012, be kick-starting the Public hearings on the Rationalisation and Re-alignment of schools, in the Umthatha district at 09h00 at the City Hall.
The MEC Mandla Makupula seeks to emphasise on consolidation of state resources to advance the department’s core business which is teaching and learning in an efficient manner. Locals and the media are therefore invited to be part of this public hearing as it will include a briefing session that is scheduled thereafter.
