MEC Makupula to receive renovated St Aidens building

The infrastructure delivery programme of the Eastern Cape Department of Education is rising steadily as now, as districts are also benefiting such that the Department of Roads and Public Works will tomorrow hand over the recently renovated Grahamstown education District offices in the Makana Municipal Area.

Although the event will be preceded by a gala dinner to be held today at 19h00 for a plethora of local and Regional Stakeholders in the Grahamstown City hall, the major event is scheduled for tomorrow, 10 May at 10h00, at St Aidens Building.

The major event will see the official handing over of the building to the Department of Education together with the cutting of the ribbon, unveiling of the plaque and the hoisting of the flag by the South African Police Services (SAPS).

Members of the media fraternity and communities in and around Grahamstown are cordially invited to witness the strides of progress made by the department to ensure that people are serviced in offices fit for such.
