Gauteng Health and Social Development MEC Qedani Mahlangu is on her way to visit Pieter Wessels old age home in Nigel Ekurhuleni after 18 elderly were burnt to death and 40 others injured last night when a fire broke out at the home.
During this visit, MEC Mahlangu will assess the damage caused by the fire at the home and also look at ways the department can assist.
